Women, Poverty, & Public Policy

On October 8, 2010, speakers Simone Campbell, SSS, Denise Driehaus, Jean East, PhD, and Col Owens, J.D. discussed historic and current policies affecting women in poverty and important legislation currently being considered, such as TANF in Congress.  This invitation was extended to the Greater Cincinnati nonprofit organizations, SC Ministry Foundation board/committee members, and selected local funders and partners, and was held at the SC Ministry Foundation office.  “What actions will you take?” was the question asked following the program.  Click here to see participant responses that relate advocating, collaborating, and working with women to address key issues.
