Linking Money to Mission for the Long Term

Nonprofit Finance 101 was offered in the morning. Participants learned the fundamental concepts and structure of nonprofit financial statements in order to better understand their true operating performance. David Greco provided guidance on how to support a nonprofit’s underlying business model through longer-term capitalization planning. This session was designed for those who are new to nonprofit finance or need to build a more foundational understanding of key concepts.

 

 

Nonprofit Finance 201 was offered in the afternoon. Participants reviewed the concepts and structure of nonprofit financial statements through instructional case studies. David Greco provided guidance on structuring longer term projects and capitalization planning strategies, including the development of reserves and appropriate benchmarks. This session was designed for those who have a more advanced understanding of nonprofit financial statements.
