CINCINNATI - SC Ministry Foundation extends sincere thanks and appreciation to all grantees who took time to complete the recent Grantee Perception Survey facilitated through The Center for Effective Philanthropy (www.effectivephilanthropy.org). Organizations that received a grant from the Foundation in fiscal year 2007 were asked to answer several questions relating to their experiences working through the grant application process with their respective program officer and other Foundation staff. They were also given the opportunity to offer suggestions for streamlining the application process and simplifying reporting requirements.

This is the second time SC Ministry Foundation contracted with The Center for Effective Philanthropy to conduct a grantee perception survey. Suggestions from the initial 2003 survey precipitated several changes in the application and reporting processes and gave direction for the Foundation?s 2004-2008 Strategic Plan. Staff, board and committees are now considering what additional changes might be implemented after consideration of the 2007 survey results.
