SC Ministry Foundation will not normally consider grant pre-applications for:

• Major capital expenditures such as construction, acquisition or renovation of facilities, equipments or technology
• Ongoing operations, overhead, operational deficits or debt reduction
• Endowments, scholarships or tuition assistance
• Projects where the Foundation would be the principal source of support
• Programs in public schools including colleges and universities, as well as programs in Catholic schools or parishes that do not have a current association with the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati
• Grants to individuals, units of government or government agencies
• Annual appeals, membership drives, sponsorships, fundraising campaigns
• Partisan political advocacy or for lobbying purposes
• Programs or projects that result in duplication of services
