Funding Priorities

Priority consideration for funding is given to the following organizations:

First Priority
The Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati Congregation

Second Priority
The seven nonprofit organizations whose sponsor is the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, for their sustainability and impact

Third Priority
Nonprofit organizations where Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati serve as staff, board members, or in other active ways.

Fourth Priority
Nonprofit organizations with national, regional, or local efforts that are supported by the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati.

Additional Criteria for Third and Fourth Priorities:
Priority consideration is also given to organizations with good stewardship, measurable outcomes and impact in the areas of SC Ministry Foundation’s strategic plan and efforts supported by the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, including:

• Revitalization of Price Hill, Cincinnati:
  • Pre-K, Early Childhood and Catholic Education
  • Comprehensive Community Development
• Care for Creation
• Comprehensive Immigration Reform
• Abolishment of the Death Penalty
• Focused New Orleans Hurricane Recovery
• Collaborative Initiatives that Leverage Impact
